    The Carolina Summer Music Festival celebrates the bicentennial of the birth of Frederic Chopin with an all-Chopin concert including the famous Sonata for cello and piano among the shimmering glass sculptures of the Jon Kuhn Studio Gallery. Champagne will be served after the performance. The musicians for this program are making their festival debuts.

    • "Scherzo in c sharp minor", op. 39
    • "Mazurka in A minor," op. 17, no. 4
    • "Fantasie in F minor," op. 49
    • "Barcarolle," op. 60
    • "Sonata in G minor," op. 65, for cello and piano
    Featuring

    As a special promotion for Chopin & Champagne: Artist Jon Kuhn will donate to the Carolina Chamber Symphony Players 10% of any glass art sales made on the night of the concert, (it could be a later sale, if it results from the concert.) What an opportunity to hear beautiful music and buy stunning art!
